Footnote: The Doyle family of the 19th Century to the mid part of the 20th century were considered as millionaires. What amazes me is that a young boy of 16 came to Akron in 1842 from the farm and is able to acquire that amount of wealth. I think it's great that he had enough funds to be able to send all his children and grandchildren, male and female, to excellent colleges. William B. Doyle's ancestors have the wonderful background of their family for inspiration.

Pat's eulogy by: Rev. Mary Frances Haberkon
My Uncle Tom was one of the finest men that I ever had the pleasure to know.
He was a fine example of a man with class and humility; I, for one, looked up to him. He was an honest example of a wonderful father to his children and a kind, caring and loving husband to my Aunt Barb. I could not have asked for a better uncle.
